Warehouse Operative
 
Start date: Immediate Start
Job type: Temporary to Permanent 
Hours: Full time hours (Monday to Friday plus 1 weekend day)
Location: Penrith
Hourly Rate: £10.60 - Overtime and Weekends paid at x1.5
 
We are currently seeking a Warehouse Operative to join a well-established business that offer fantastic career development and progression. You must be hard working and enjoy a fast paced role!
 
*Due to the location of the business, a Full UK Drivers Licence with use of your own vehicle is essential.
 
Duties will include 

• Picking and packing items ready for dispatch
• Unloading and loading wagons in a fast paced Transport department
• Labelling and data inputting stock into in-house systems
• Working in a labour intensive role and working towards tight deadlines 
• Palletising items 

 
Essential criteria 

• Experience working in a warehouse, manufacturing or production environment is required
• Capable of working in a fast paced and hands on role
• Reliable and punctual 
• Going above and beyond - Happy to stay back to support the team till the job is done!
• Strong communication skills
