Machine Hygiene Technician 

Hours: Tuesday to Saturday (working days and 1x back shift per week)
Salary: £11.50ph - Overtime paid at x1.5 + £25 weekly attendance bonus
Job type: Temporary to Permanent
Location: Penrith, Cumbria 

This is an important role working within the Maintenance team for a well-established and growing Food Production and Supply Chain business based in Penrith, Cumbria. Our client offer fantastic career progression and are looking for a hard working and committed candidate, that is open to developing their skills.

If you do not live locally to Penrith, a driving license and own transport is required due to location. 

Responsibilities:

• Taking apart and putting back together small to medium size components within industrial machinery in a Factory environment 
• Hygiene within Production machinery 
• Attending to breakdowns and diagnosing any issues to the Head of Engineering
• Checking and keeping on top of Hygiene in various machines 
• Paperwork

Skills and Experience: 

• Solid knowledge and experience of CIP (Cleaning In Places) systems
• Maintenance/Engineering background and experience is advantegous  
• Strong experience using power and DIY tools
• Being hands on with machinery in a Production or Manufacturing role is advantageous but not essential
