We are current recruiting an experienced office administrator to work on behalf of an Engineering Business in the Penrith area. 

Purpose of the Job
The primary purpose of this position is to assist, organise and perform a wide range of administrative tasks for the Operations division.
 
Job Profile
This role is for a person able to demonstrate strong organisational and administrative skills as well as flexibility to pick up various activities within a small but busy office environment. The scope of work includes the following tasks but is not exclusive to the role.
 
Primary Tasks
  • Administrative support to Operations personnel in the delivery of projects and service.
  • Updating client/project records and communication progress with customers and other members of the team
  • Communicating and coordinating with Local Service Providers
  • Communication and coordinating activities with other staff
  • Updating service cases and records
  • Researching parts and equipment requirements under guidance from Operations team together with issuing purchase orders and processing goods through an inventory system
  • Taking deliveries and ensuring stock is stored in correct locations.
  • Ensure system holds correct locations for stockroom items.
  • Booking collections with couriers to send materials to site.
  • Ensure deliveries have been received by site.
 Secondary Tasks
  • Travel research, booking travel and accommodation
  • Assisting with stock takes.
  • Keeping stock room in order
  • Filing and general office administration activities
Experience and Skills Required:
  • Good computer skills - MS Office skills including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Accurate and detailed record keeping
  • Strong organisational skills - Ability to plan and prioritise
  • Interpersonal skills – Team collaborator - Customer focus
  • Informs accurately and in a timely manner
  • Ability to quickly acquire new knowledge as required
